Cycle paths run both in front of (Universitätsring) and behind the City Hall (Friedrich-Schmidt-Platz).

Focus on inclusion and accessibility

The Vienna Christmas Market attaches great importance to inclusion. There are accessible toilets with Eurokey locks, as well as tables and cash machines that are easily accessible for wheelchair users. Posters and information boards are designed with large, high-contrast fonts and simple language. New punch cups feature the words ‘Vienna Christmas Market’ in Braille. The information pillars about the Advent objects in Rathauspark are also equipped with Braille.
