For the first time, the Bronberg Children’s Choir from South Africa and the Wiener KinderChor der Musikschulen Wien will meet in Vienna, arranged by leading South African choirmaster, Johann van der Sandt. As part of the Festive Singing of the Music School, 1,100 girls and boys from the Singschule Vienna rehearsed choral works in the original languages of isiZulu and seSotho, among others, as well as performing matching South African choreographies. Now, around 120 children from both children’s choirs will lend their voices to some of these vivacious choral works once more.
