“Pillerkoor” strives to always remain true to its name and to celebrate a
pillerkaar (“party” in English) of music. Far from their home, the choir’s international
singers follow the call of Estonian choir music,
interpreting predominantly traditional as well as modern Estonian
music since 2014. However, under the artistic direction of David Kaldma in the “Nordlichter” (Northern Lights) programme, the
voices of the Pillerkoor ring out in languages
and Christmassy sounds from all of Scandinavia and the Baltics.
