The A Cappella Chor Donaufeld was founded in January 1988, and in the 37 years of its existence, has compiled an extensive repertoire that ranges from sacred works to the modern period as well as secular pieces such as folk songs, popular music and musicals. The choir participates in numerous events in Vienna’s choral scene, accompanies church services, gives its own concerts, organises Advent events and has been a regular at the International Advent Singing Festival at Vienna City Hall for many years. Since the end of March 2025, the choir has been singing under its new director, Antonio Lizarraga-Lopez.
