Founded in 2023 by Nataliya Golder, Chervona Kalyna brings together Ukrainian women who share a passion for music. The name “Chervona Kalyna” translates to “red viburnum”, a symbol of Ukraine’s resilience. The choir’s repertoire ranges from traditional Ukrainian folk songs to classical, popular and contemporary compositions. The choir also enjoys performing works by Austrian composers, and in so doing, celebrates cultural diversity. The choir has received great acclaim for its performances in Vienna and many other Austrian cities.
