The First Methodist Waco Choir is a lively group of singers of all ages and backgrounds. The ensemble has an extensive repertoire, ranging from choral music classics to modern radio hits, and sings at worship services at the First Methodist Church of Waco every week, accompanied by an orchestra. The First Methodist Church was founded in 1850 on the banks of the Brazos river in the heart of Texas, and is the oldest church in Waco and in McLennan County. Singing has always been an important part of the church’s history.
