Founded in 1982, “Alba Regia” mixed choir holds an important position in the cultural life of the city of Székesfehérvár in Hungary. Directed by Imre Kneifel, the choir’s work is also characterised by concert evenings, oratorio concerts and opera performances as well as the organisation of the annual choir event in Székesfehérvár. It has won awards such as the silver prize as a “CONCERT CHOIR” at the international Musica Sacra choir competition in Rome, or the “Fricsay Richárd” prize. Winner of the “Pro Civitate”, “Fricsay Richárd” and KÓTA awards.
