Founded in 1964, the Carmina Dacica women’s choir celebrated 60 years on stage in 2019. Under the direction of Prof. Flora Toth (since 1986), it has become a firm favourite in the musical life of Timișoara and beyond. With a broad repertoire of styles from Renaissance to Modern, the choir has received multiple awards and has a national and international presence – including in France, Spain, Poland, Greece and the Netherlands.
