The workers’ choral society “Arbeitersängerbund Favoriten”, a mixed choir with a long tradition, was founded back in 1891. Its musical spectrum ranges from traditional workers’ songs to the Flying Pickets and Monty Python all the way to operettas by Strauss, modern pop songs, historical Renaissance pieces, its own compositions and dialect songs by “Ostbahn Kurti”. The choir’s Advent and Christmas concerts are a popular highlight in the musical calendar.
