The polyphonic choir “Boxis de Luna” comes from Sardinia and was founded in 2012 in Lunamatrona. Directed by Lorenzo Zonca, spiritual and secular songs from all eras as well as traditional Sardinian songs are practised and performed. Since 2014, the International Choral Festival “Al Sole della Sardegna” has been drawing huge crowds at the Church of San Giovanni Battista with its spiritual songs and Christmas carols. In the spring, the choir organises its “In…Canto” concert, with a special focus on the most contemporary forms of choral singing.
