DESCRIPTION:The Duhallow Choral Society was founded by Brigid Daly in Newmarket\, Cork on 6 March 1996 with the aim of promoting choral music and culture in the Duhallow region. With around 90 members\, the choir sings church\, pop\, classic and traditional music with television coverage. It has performed on prestigious stages in Austria and abroad – including in Belgium\, Rome\, New York and Chicago – and has sung for eminent figures such as President Michael D. Higgins\, Senator Hillary Clinton and Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Sharon Reidy from South Africa has been directing the choir with great empathy since 2007.

DESCRIPTION:The polyphonic choir “Boxis de Luna” comes from Sardinia and was founded in 2012 in Lunamatrona. Directed by Lorenzo Zonca\, spiritual and secular songs from all eras as well as traditional Sardinian songs are practised and performed. Since 2014\, the International Choral Festival “Al Sole della Sardegna” has been drawing huge crowds at the Church of San Giovanni Battista with its spiritual songs and Christmas carols. In the spring\, the choir organises its “In…Canto” concert\, with a special focus on the most contemporary forms of choral singing.

The choir strives to convey harmony and peace of mind to its listeners\, in both its sacred music and its traditional Romanian songs.

DESCRIPTION:The Choral Society “Jung Wien” was founded in 1946 by Prof. Leo Lehner. In a city devastated by war\, the choir was formed in the hope of creating a new\, young Vienna. Its most notable concerts to date have taken place in the Golden Hall of the Vienna’s Musikverein and in the Wiener Konzerthaus. The ensemble has toured Europe\, Israel\, Canada\, Asia and the USA\, and boasts a repertoire including sacred and secular works from all eras up to the modern day. Nevertheless\, the choir’s core repertoire is made up of pieces from the Viennese waltz and operetta era. The choir is led by Robert Feichtinger.

DESCRIPTION:Founded in 1956 by Jaroslav Dostalík PhD\, Mladost was quick to rise to the top ranks of European choirs. Fifteen years later\, Dostalík was forced to leave the choir for political reasons and Mladost ceased to exist. In 1996\, some former members initially revived Mladost as a mixed choir\, and it became a female-voice choir in 2010. The choir is now led by David Šmíd\, who is studying to become a conductor at the Brno University of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU). Mladost showcases its broad repertoire at concerts and in choir competitions both at home and in other European countries.

DESCRIPTION:Featuring 60 pupils from the second to fifth school years\, the youth choir of the Lycée Français de Vienne was founded in 2022 at the initiative of Claude Brendel\, a music teacher and choirmaster. It has performed outside the school\, e.g. in 2023 at the MuTh concert hall as part of the “Wiener Jugendsingen” youth choir festival\, and in 2024 at the Vienna Konzerthaus with choirs and orchestras of the Vienna University Philharmonic. The choir pays particular attention to its choice of repertoire in order to cover a wide range of musical periods\, aesthetics and cultures.

DESCRIPTION:The mixed Cantabile choir was founded in February 2014 in Ajka (Veszprém\nCounty\, Hungary). The diverse repertoire comprises Hungarian\nfolk song adaptations alongside classic and modern\, secular and sacred choral music. It regularly performs at cultural events in Ajka and also participates in the\nKeszthely Song Festival\, Budapest Choir Fest and Dalvölgy Veszprém Choir Festival. During the Advent season\, the choir organises a concert in the inner city’s Ajka church\, featuring renowned guest choirs and instrumental soloists.

DESCRIPTION:For over 40 years\, the Carroll County Community Chorus has been delighting its audiences with concerts ranging from its grandiose classic oratorio repertoire to lighter pop music.  This 120-strong choir is made up of voluntary singers from all over West Georgia and East Alabama under the direction of Terry Lowry\, who also leads the Carroll County Community Chorus\, the Carrollton Jazz Orchestra\, the Carrollton Wind Ensemble and the Carroll Symphony Youth Orchestra\, and acts as both organist and director of music at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception church in Atlanta.

With their sophisticated choral music\, they aim to convey the joy of making music and singing together to as many people as possible. The choir’s work is based on traditions and values; they want to ‘pass on the flame’\, as their music teacher Gabor Ugrin once said. Veronika Belejné Apró has been the choir director since 2021.

DESCRIPTION:StimmSalat wurde 2009  gegründet und umfasst etwa 30 Sängerinnen und Sänger. Wir proben in Wien und die Vielfalt unseres Repertoires – von Madrigal bis Gospel\, von Bach bis Queen\, Weihnachtslieder und Revolutionshymnen zeichnet uns aus. Verschieden sind die Orte\, an denen wir im Jahr so 5mal auftreten. Sogar bei einer Theaterproduktion haben wir mitgewirkt.  Konzertausflüge nach Oberösterreich\, Niederösterreich und ins Burgenland wurden schon unternommen und in Prag beim Adventsingen waren wir auch dabei.

DESCRIPTION:Die Schola Cantorum aus Calcio in Italien wurde 1994 von Maestro Gian Luigi Consolandi gegründet\, der sie seitdem leitet. Seit fast dreißig Jahren ist die Schola Cantorum eine etablierte Kulturinstitution in ihrer Region und genießt in Italien und im Ausland Anerkennung\, wie bei Konzerten in der Kathedrale Notre Dame in Paris\, Warschau oder Salzburg. Viele Veranstaltungen werden in Calcio organisiert\, in Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Chören und Musiker*innen. CD-Aufnahmen mit Faurés Requiem\, Vivaldis Gloria und Mozarts Missa brevis in der Antica Pieve di Calcio mit ihrer hervorragenden Akustik.

Das Debüt am 17. Juni 2025 in der Kasematte Wiener Neustadt fand großen Anklang. Ziel ist es\, musikalisch zu wachsen\, regelmäßig Konzerte zu gestalten und die Freude am gemeinsamen Singen zu fördern.

SUMMARY:Kammerchor KVV (Kayamar Vorti Virgo)
DESCRIPTION:Für den KVV-Kammerchor scharte Viktor Magyaróvári (Künstlernamen Kayamar) während seines Studiums an der Musikakademie Freund*innen um sich. Die Freude am gemeinsamen Singen blieb auch über die Abschlussprüfung hinaus. Der Chor liebt die Vielfalt. Einerseits bei seinen Chormitgliedern\, zu denen Handwerker*innen\, Ärzt*innen\, IT-Spezialist*innen zählen. Andererseits beim Repertoire: Geistliche Werke\, Madrigale\, Werke der Klassik\, Filmmusik sowie Kompositionen und Transkriptionen des Chorleiters Kayamar. Die verschiedenen Farben der Kostüme sind ein Symbol dieser Vielfalt und Diversität.
