SUMMARY:Wiener ABChor Arcade
DESCRIPTION:The many choirs\, known in Vienna as “ABChöre”\, are part of the children’s and youth choirs from the City of Vienna’s music schools. Aged between eight and twelve\, the children gather experiences in the “ABCs of choir singing”. They sing one to three-part pieces from various periods and styles. The young singers also gain plenty of experience performing on both a small and large scale\, e.g. at the Festive Singing event held at Vienna Konzerthaus\, and at choir events in Austria and abroad.

DESCRIPTION:ARS VIVENDI’s home is in Donaustadt\, Vienna’s 22nd district. Since 2019\, the choir has been conducted by the experienced and very dedicated musical director\, Antonio Lizárraga-López. Its repertoire ranges from classical and folk music to musicals and even operettas. Its musical focus in 2025 is on Viennese songs (“Wienerlieder”) and music by Johann Strauss. All the singers and members of the Ars Vivendi choir association\, at present over 40 in number\, are given the opportunity to regularly attend voice training.

SUMMARY:Via Lentia - Schulchor des BRG14
DESCRIPTION:Founded in 1992 by Thomas Pulker at BRG 14\, the school choir “Via Lentia”\, with its approximately 40 pupils from years 2 to 8\, has since performed at numerous events in Vienna\, in the federal provinces and on tours abroad. The choir has already recorded three CDs – the videos can be found on YouTube. Maria Reichart became choir leader in 2024. The choir’s repertoire ranges from the Renaissance period all the way to the 20th century. It also likes to include Austrian folk songs\, spirituals and pop songs.

DESCRIPTION:The Laa Capella choir\, with its 26 members\, is an ensemble of music lovers that grew out of a project in the autumn of 2007 with the aim of rehearsing the Misa Campesina Nicaragüense. The choir’s repertoire ranges from classical music to gospel and pop music. It recorded a CD – “Klangbogen” – in 2013\, and regularly performs and organises festivals.

DESCRIPTION:Founded in September 2016\, Cantaremos has since been directed by Luis Carlos Muñoz Segovia. The choir aims to promote art and culture\, in particular in the areas of choral and Latin American music\, and to contribute to a cultural exchange between Europe and Latin American countries. Songs are primarily sung in Spanish\, Brazilian Portuguese and Creole. The choir also enjoys venturing into the musical traditions of other continents.

DESCRIPTION:The Dynamics by VoiZe is a youth choir with singers between the ages of 10 and 24. They combine a passion for music with creative expression\, and specialise in “show choir” – a compelling performance style that blends choir singing with choreography. It all started back in a singing school\, where the young people got to know each other\, and then later took part in a choir competition in Hong Kong. The choir members place great value on traditional music from Thailand\, but are also open to traditional music from other countries. To them\, choir singing represents a fantastic opportunity to be creative in their free time.
