I love Christmas and everything associated with Christmas is involved.
From my friend I received a link for this beautiful Christmas markets in Vienna and I would love to make a visit.
I have lived three years in England and I never found anything similar. Of course, there is a Christmas atmosphere too but there is not such traditional markets, with traditional Christmas food tasting and beverages such as punch and almonds, which I love, with all the beautiful Christmas decorations and lights. Because I have never been in Vienna, I hope I do manage this year to come and visit this beautiful city together with the Christmas markets.

Ich war am Samstag das erste mal wieder auf dem Christkindlmarkt und habe mich irrsinnig auf gewisse Sachen gefreut (zB die Kekse aus dem Rathaus oder die Waffeln mit Apfelmus). Als ich so über den Rathausplatz spazierte, fiel mir ein Stand mit türkischen Spezialitäten auf. Ich finde es ein wenig unnötig auf einem CHRISTkindlmarkt türkische Spezialitäten anzubieten. Die feiern ja nicht einmal Weihnachten...

Wenn die Großschreibung eines Wortes auf ihre persönliche religiöse Meinung hinzielt, dann finden wir, das Tolerenz zum Weihnachtsfest gehört.

Ich denke diese christkindlmarkt in wien rauthaus ist die beste mit unsere Strassburger christkindmaerick, in der place broglie,
place de la cathédrale ( Domplatz); und die tannenbaum in der place kleber

de Vienne mairie rathaus, et le notre ici à strasbourg place

As a British guy living in nearby Bratislava, Slovakia myself and my partner always visit Vienna every year for the Christmas market. It is enchanting and beautiful, I really wish that this idea would be taken to my homeland in England as it is not possible to find such a Christmas Market. Anyway I just wanted to say it's a great way to build up the Christmas Spirit, and I can't think of a better city to be in than Vienna at this time of year. I've been too many places in the world but too me Vienna really is synonymous with Christmas time!
